New Client Onboarding

Client Onboarding Process and Service Schedule – You have likely seen this document already, but it serves as a reminder of the basic process we will go through over the coming few months and solidifies what you can expect from me. This can also be found here.

Client Engagement Letter – The email I sent included a copy of the Outbound Financial engagement letter with our agreed upon rates. You should have simultaneously received an email from DocuSign that will lead you to the document for easy electronic signing. Of course, I’m happy to discuss any aspect of the agreement before your executing, so please don’t hesitate to follow-up. Also, if part of a couple, please confirm I have both of your names properly input and please excuse any incorrect assumptions.

Form ADV, Part 2 – The email I sent included a copy of the Form ADV, Part 2 referenced in item 13 of the Client Engagement Letter. This can also be found here.

Financial Planning Site Access – I have granted you access to your own financial planning page that will give me the information I’ll need to get to work. If part of a couple, you will each receive an invitation to join. The registration process is intuitive, but please expect it to take an hour or two. After you get into your client dashboard, you will go through an Onboarding process in which you will answer questions about your family, your goals, your retirement plans, and the property you own. You will also be able to link the financial accounts in which you have online access. Follow this link for some information on the security you can expect from the system that I’m utilizing (its top notch!). below are a few helpful items to note:

  • If you don't have online access to some of your accounts, we can work on getting them added later.

  • If some connections aren’t working, please leave the broken connection in the system so I can assist with getting the account linked up.

  • The invitation links are only viable for one week, so please log on as soon as possible.

  • If you ever need the link that will lead you to your site, please go to the Outbound Financial homepage and then click Client Login in the top right-hand corner.

New Client Questionnaire – The email I sent included a copy of this document, but an online version can be found here. Please fill out this word document and upload it to the Shared Documents folder in the Client Vault within your Financial Planning Site.

Financial Planning Site Vault – As requested above, please upload your New Client Questionnaire along with a copy of your most recent income tax returns (both federal and state).

Privacy Notice – Pretty self-explanatory. I take your informational security very seriously. This link leads you to the online version.

AdvicePay – The email I sent included your personal link to AdvicePay. This system allows you to seamlessly pay your financial planning fees. If you are a part of a couple, I have made a guess at who the point person is for this step (I am only allowed choose one) but am happy to switch this if you prefer.
